'08 Race Report
The Mformation Urban Stampede 2008 was the first edition of Urban Stampede. There were a total of 78 teams registered under various categories from 38 different companies!
On the race day we have 100% attendance, all 78 teams reported and the race started at 7:00 AM.
The excitement was palpable from the start with teams supporting their runners and the runners fought hard!
The first round had many runners finishing in good knick - sub 25-minute timings and the race was very close. By the time the teams were on their 3rd lap GMR was emerging as clear leaders and had opened up a good lead over second place Infosys team.
The last round saw the GMR team winning comfortably with a lead of over 3 minutes over the second place team. The tussle between Samsung and Infosys ended with Samsung edging ahead by a minute.

In the women’s category we had only a couple of teams participating. The women’s team from Infosys won this contest with the Bearing Point Systems finishing second. Here are the timings for the women’s contest:
